2023 Heart'n'Home Special Learners Homeschool Conference

We have seen a growing need amongst this community for resources and services geared toward children with learning challenges or differences, that will come alongside our homeschooling parent educators to support the work they are doing in their homeschools. 

These parents have chosen to homeschool because they believe they can provide the best possible learning and growth environment for their children. They have taken on the physical, emotional, financial, and educational responsibility to ensure that their students can thrive and achieve their educational goals. Many of these families have experienced pressure to give up and enroll their children in a public school in order to receive needed services, but they have persevered because they so adamantly believe that their children are best served in their home environment. 

We want to support them in their endeavor by offering a one-day conference that features organizations that offer services or opportunities for children with learning challenges, as well as speakers that will offer encouragement and practical help.

We have partnered with Tunnel Hill Church in Georgetown, IN and the Homegrown Hoosiers, to offer this conference. It will be held on Saturday, August 26, from 10 AM - 2 PM at Tunnel Hill Christian Church in Georgetown, IN. There is no charge to either vendors or attendees.

This event is open to all homeschoolers, so please feel free to share!

The Homegrown Hoosiers will be selling concessions as a fundraiser for their group.
